...catching up with Technology

Welcome! So this is a blog. I've read hundreds, but never actually wrote on one myself. Strange, but wonderful. Anyway, I figured I should begin blogging before I leave for Kenya, that way I can work out all of the quirks that I encounter with the system (mainly my inability to work with technology). It is finals week at Marquette, and thus I am taking a "productive" break from studying. The purpose of this blog is to keep friends and family updated while I am away. I wish that I had the time to write to everyone, but never the less, I have each of you in mind as I write each time. Thanks for visiting, the posts will be much more exciting once I leave the country. :) Well, senior week is coming up, but I'm not sure my grandmother would like to read about that. However, graduation is around the corner, so I could get a little sappy. Grab the tissues. Alright, back to studying. To learn more about my adventures there are few really great websites to check out: www.nyumbani.org - which is where I will be volunteering www.nationmedia.com - a good source of Kenyan news
